"Foster,. I couldn't have been happier with last night. You were amazing - all of you! I didn't sit down at all last night at The Marketplace, I was constantly walking through the crowds and I can't tell you how many times I overheard people saying what a great band you guys are. I thought it was great when the man said hello to his Mom and Godmother and the ladies are fabulous! There are a number of bands that I couldn't imagine doing the Marketplace concert series without - and Foster Campbell and Friends has officially made that list."

" Thanks for the great performance at the Bakersfield Jazz Festival. What a super way to start the festival by having your group creating its wonderful mix of musical good times . Foster Campbell and Friends is a formula for fun!"

Doug Davis The Director of the Bakersfield Jazz Festival

" We have an event called Village Fest that has raised over one million dollars for Kern County kids and draws over 4,000 attendees annually, Foster Campbell and Friends have been headlining our Blues Stage for the last 5 years and believe me they get the place rocking with all the horns, beautiful lady singers, phenomenal soloists and great song selection. This is one great festival band."

Thank you for taking the time to visit our web site. "Foster Campbell and Friends" has been an evolving band playing mostly festivals for the last five years. Among the members of the band, they have a ton of big gig experience, opening for BB King, Bryan Adams, Hiroshima, Tim Mcgraw, Faith Hill, Chicago, David Sanborn, The Yellowjackets, Elvin Bishop, James "Super Harp " Cotton, Roy Rogers and the Delta Rhythm Kings and the list goes on and on. They really do appreciate all the opportunities and experiences they have had over the years.

Foster Campbell and Friends began as a one night request by a friend of Foster's who was in a jam to provide a Blues / R&B band for his music festival. Foster told him that he could pull together some of his friends and that they would be ready to put on a show for his gig the next week (an event that had 4000 paid attendees). At first, they were unsure about what to call the band. The music festival organizer suggested the name "Foster Campbell and Friends". Foster thought that would be nice and a good way to keep him from getting kicked out of the group. The honest truth is that the band's strengths come from the combination of players in the group. They are a collection of formally trained, tour-tested musicians who are also some of the funniest people to be around (There is always a lot of laughing around this group). The band had so much fun playing together that first night that when they were offered more shows, they just kept the train rolling.

Since that time Foster Campbell and Friends have developed into a full on party/show band that has played many of the major events and venues in Bakersfield, California. They have played the Bakersfield Jazz Festival twice in the last 3 years. This is by far the largest music event in Kern County, drawing thousands every year for the last 23 years. They have also played The Prime Cut's Crawfish Festival the last four years running. For the past five years, they have been the closing act on the blues stage at the biggest party of the year - The Village Fest. This event consistently sells 4000 tickets and has raised over a million dollars for the children of Kern County. Their experiences here have given them the opportunity to play at some of the town's top venues: Buck Owens' Crystal Palace, The Fox Theater, Seven Oaks Country Club and the Donahue Schriber Reality Group Concert Series. Foster Campbell and Friends take pride in developing a fun, tight band that includes a powerful four piece horn section, and is backed up by three beautiful female voices. Our locked down five piece rhythm section is second to none in "finding the pocket." The musicianship and chemistry of this band are unmistakable and they thrive in the live show arena. They are sure you will like what you hear and see at any of their live shows. Thank you for considering them for your next event. It is the goal of Foster Campbell and Friends to provide a top quality show for you and your guests. They are confident that music lovers and party goers will completely enjoy their performance.

Thank You from "Foster Campbell and Friends"
